ZayZay is now walking around quite a bit. The only step he needed, was to find his confidence, and he finally did. And this same confidence that he found to help him walk though, extends over many areas. To make it simply put, he's become part monkey. There is countless times now, that I have walked into the room he is in, to find him on top of something, be it their desk, or this train table.
When he wants to be on my lap on the couch, instead of just going around anything in the way, he goes over. The worse part of this, is he wants to use the tote that my laptop sits on (that is my temporary desk)to climb up and across. I'm guessing it's because the couch isnt as firm or sturdy to climb up the side of as the tote is, so at least he's smart about what he's climbing on? lol. But I do fear for my laptop's life now. Another thing I fear for, is the increase in gray hairs this child is going to give me!
So this month's lesson, walking brings out the monkey in my children!
